First salsa-canning experience is grrr-eat!

and spearheaded the whole salsa canning project. Congrats!

I helped my small group, Beta, can salsa last Friday night and Saturday. My hands burned for about a whole day after chopping jalapenos. We made pasta sauce, pico de gallo, spicy salsa, mango salsa and spicy mango salsa. We made labels and decorated the cans. And, oh yeah, we reminisced about the 80s, listened to Christmas music, NPR, enjoyed tacos and pizza and even found some time to relax. It was exhausting, rewarding and a great time with friends. If you're lucky, you might some of this yummy salsa for yourself.
