Another home makes decision more difficult

The garage is good-sized for one car and some storage
but it is in desperate need of a new door.

Somebody did some nice landscaping once

but they never finished the fence. It stops halfway

to the front of the house on the right.

Some weeds are growing up on the left side

of the house.

The front of the house. Most of the windows

need to be replaced but some of the trees outside

are worth keeping.

The home I toured this morning is between Goshen College and Goshen High School.

It is smaller than the previous two but not by much. It has an okay-sized living room

with two slightly smaller bedrooms. The tub has some problems and the vinyl needs to

be replaced in the kitchen. Apparently, the furnace is in the attic. It is probably not

high efficiency and would need to be replaced. It is on two lots at a combined size of 80' x

132'. Much of the cleanup outside could be done at little to no cost. There is room for

expansion and potential to pretty the place up. The location is great. The biggest negatives

are the windows, garage door and entrance door (to be replaced by owner). It is currently rented. It's in the running, but I'm not done looking yet. I'm looking at a newer, larger house

near the Boys and Girls Club Tuesday. After that, I am considering putting in an offer for one or two houses. The excitement's still escalating. Find out more next Wednesday.

I will be going to a Cinco de Mayo celebration tonight. It will be my first time. Look for photos on Monday or Tuesday.

It's kinda fun isn't it? Maybe we can come help you clean your new house up or help you move or something. (Ryan is very good for lifting heavy things.)

I think this one's actually sort of cute....or would be with minimal updates (doors, etc.).
