Well, I have looked about two houses already. The first home had a lot of roof problems and needed new windows. And the only bathroom was in the master bedroom. I think I will pass on that one.
Yesterday, I looked a 100-plus-year-old home with many updates to the siding, windows, plumbing and electrical. Unfortunately, the carport was in the bad repair, the tub needed to be replaced and the kitchen cabinets were few, cheap and old. It was better than the first house I looked at but I'm still hoping I can find something a little nicer.
Next week, I plan to tour a home that looks like a good possibility from the listing photos. It's on College Avenue near Goshen College. I've driven by it and I like how it looks. It has an attached garage on the alley side. I have not made any decisions yet but I would like to move in by the end of June. July and the first part of August look really busy with work, trips and Choral Camp. Stay tuned. This story has just started to get interesting.
