First try not so good

I hope the first house was the worst. I toured this house between Goshen College and Goshen High School Friday. It has an attractive appearance from the front with the screen porch and blue shutters. Unfortunately, both the screen porch and “deck” are very small. Many of the windows need to be replaced and the roof is in disrepair and poorly designed (notice the low roof). The garage (not pictured) is too small for a car and that is a huge negative to me. Inside, the plumbing and electrical is decent except the electric drips. It has a nice laundry room but the hook-ups are electric. The master bedroom is good size but the second bedroom is very small with no door. The kitchen was small but usable. A small wall is needed in the master bedroom for privacy from the living room and the bathroom which is off the bedroom. I like the price but the taxes are high and the repairs should make this house interesting for investors only. I was a bit disappointed because the home is in a nice neighborhood, but I am not out of options yet.
