I spent an hour at the Day of Diversity at Maple City Chapel today. There was an abundance of activities and food. It was neat to touch base with some friends I had not seen for awhile.
While I was there, I ate some kofte (Turkish), a spicy chicken dish (Ethiopian), and a lime popsicle (Mexican). The kofte (meatballs) could have been cooked a little longer but the Ethiopian chicken was excellent with a good amount of heat. I hadn't had kofte since I was in Turkey. As always, it was fun to try some food from different parts of the world.
