Is it "jello in a bag?" No, it's slime!

What do you get when you combine food coloring, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and borax? You get slime!

In Mr. Thiery's 8th grade science class today we made our own slime to take home. We have been studying polymerization as part of our chemistry section. As you might notice, my slime -- I connived Derek out of some of his -- is more the consistency of jello than sludgy slime but it will have to do.

I have stains from making the stuff. As I look at it now, I'm getting hungry for jello. Hmm. I should have bought some this week.
