Well, it has been an interesting week to say the least. I went home sick halfway through Wednesday and stayed home sick Tuesday, too. Then, classes were cancelled at IUSB Thursday and at the middle school Friday due temperatures below zero.
The dry, cold weather makes me feel tired and unmotivated. When I go out, it seems like I spend most of my time staying warm. That's not invigorating. That's ridiculous.
It has warmed up a little bit today, but the snow and the icicles are here to stay for a long time. I took the pictures of my house today. Some buildings have huge icicles that are probably 8-10 feet long.
Since there's no school Monday for Martin Luther King Day, I plan to catch up on some more homework, reading and sleep. I'm beginning to get used to this hibernation. It may be a bit of a shock to go back to work and classes Tuesday.
