What am I? An undergrad? A grad student? Help!

Okay, here's my story. Last Saturday, I went to an informational session for elementary education majors. I needed to go to get my advisory hold lifted. I was only there a few minutes when after asking the class levels of everyone there my status was not called. I asked what I should do if I am planning to enter the Transition to Teaching program. The facilitator said I should not have received the email and did not need to attend the session. I was to call the education office Monday (today) to get myself recoded.

Today, I called the education office and, of all things, the lady that answered is new and does not know how to recode. I will have to wait until at least Wednesday to get this figured out. In the meantime, I am a bit confused. I thought my previous advisor, who has moved on, had gotten this problem straightened. On top of that, I cannot seem to get ahold of my new advisor. The one time I was going to meet with him they changed their hours and the office was closed. Ultimately, I'm not really worried but it is a weird situation. But I'll give them the benefit of a doubt since it is not often that you have a transfer senior (although I already have a degree) taking undergraduate courses necessary to meet the requirements to join a graduate program. All this maneuvering makes me wish I could skip all the classes, get my degree and start teaching. If only it could work that way ...
