Do I want to do elementary ed. instead?

Yesterday, I substitute taught all-day kindergarten at West Goshen Elementary School. I wasn't sure how that would go. Most of my experience with children has been with middle school and high school. It went really well, though.

For the morning I had an excellent aide helping me in the room. She knew what was going on and the students kept me pointed in the right direction, too. I was impressed with their abilities to read and write. And their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. Now I'm wondering if I should reconsider and go for el. ed. instead. Hopefully, the picture will be a little clearer by the end of the school year.

In addition to Goshen schools, I have also put in my name for subbing in the Concord school system. I would like to be able to sub 3 days a week and work at Yoder Department Store 3 days a week. I would love to sub full-time but they don't offer me any benefits.
