Okay, it looks nice from the outside but this house in the Northside Neighborhood needs some extensive renovation and repair. It is listed as two-bedroom but one is just a landing with a closet. In order to make it into a two-bedroom, the stairs would need to be moved. That would not work very well, though because it would end in the dining room. The living and dining room have hardwood floors that could be made very nice. The bathroom and kitchen were recently redone and are very nice. The kitchen is large. The laundry room is an eyesore unfortunately. It needs a ceiling and insulation in the ceiling. The floor covering has been stripped, too. The price sounded good at a little less that 60,000 but now I know why.
I might tour the house near the Fairgrounds again next week as I consider placing an offer on that. I hope to move in somewhere within the next two months. I'm still excited. It's time.

Well, from the pictures and your descriptions it sounds like the one between GC and GHS is the best bet. Plus it's the one with the tiniest bit of "style". I'd pick that one if I had to pick from your choices.
Don't be in a hurry though! Even though you'd like to be in by summer, it would be better to move in later and actually have a house that you feel confident about.
