Now, that Ohio State has lost the college football national championship, they can join Michigan and Notre Dame fans in bemoaning the lousy last game of the year. I'm not terribly sad because I had a feeling Notre Dame would get thumped. I've been in basketball mode since December so I can move on. If football had a playoff like March Madness, a team's season couldn't be over in one game. Now, that's what I call "madness." Look at USC. They had two bad games in the regular season then proceeded to destroy #3 Michigan. Huh? Also, Boise State went undefeated and beat a tough Oklahoma team but still managed only #5 final ranking. Thank you, BCS, for muddying up a picture can only be made clearer with a 16-team playoff. It could start after finals, so academics would still come first.
I didn't make it to Ryan's ordination after all. Here's a picture of all the pastors at their church. Rob, on the left, and Ryan were ordained while Reuben was installed. God's blessings to all of them.
