Mis padres son personas excelentes!

For those of you who are Spanish-challenged, my title says, "My parents are excellent people!" I'm proud to have such dedicated, Christian parents. My father Ben is a Mennonite pastor and part-time employee in residential home sales and estimating. He has taught me patience and faithfulness. He is happily married to my mother Rose. She has served well as a pastor's wife and mother. The last few years she has worked at Clinton Christian School as a librarian. I have learned from her how to love people who are different from me. Her love for reading has rubbed off on me. I wish I had more time to read.

With so many single-parent families anymore, I thank God for the blessing of a unified family. We are very independent in many ways but that has brought us together instead of separating us. We don't see each other very often anymore but it is always a special time when we get together. Thanks, Mom, Dad, Deb, Nate, Kris, Ryan, Kalvary and Glory.
