I’m still single and loving it for the most part. I think it would be a lot harder if it were not for SALT, the twenty and thirtysomethings singles group at Maple City Chapel. Although I miss Wednesday night Bible studies to help the junior high, I try to make many of the weekend activities. We go out to eat, to movies, bowling, get together to play games, etc.

Tonight, we are meeting to play volleyball with the singles group from nearby Zion Chapel. I’m looking forward to it. Since I attend Downtown@8:08, a young adults church started out of Zion, I’m wondering if there will be anyone there that I know. Going to 8:08 helps me from getting too wrapped up in a small group of friends. Many of them come from a non-Mennonite background which is refreshing.

I don’t have any current pics for you today but here’s a nutso picture of me with the Moody Student newspaper staff. That year, I developed a passion for journalism and page design. When I finish my two-page preview for the upcoming Clinton basketball season, I will publish it here so you can get a glimpse of my work.

At first I thought your picture was supposed to be of the SALT group. I didn't recognize anyone and I thought that was weird. It's all so clear now. Thanks for making it so that I can comment and people can link to my site.
