Memorial Day spells work

Unlike much of the country, I worked today. Since Yoder Department Store is in the heart of tourism in Northern Indiana, the doors were open from 10-7. I worked from 11:30 to 7 and stayed busy. The majority of shoppers were buyers, not just lookers, today. The day goes fast when most of the day is spent helping customers.

Tomorrow, I am interviewing for a job at Goshen High School. Please pray that that opportunity or another instructional aide position in the school system would open up for me. Since I will going to school part time in the fall, a job at a school would mesh well with my academic schedule. I would also appreciate the practical experience in education while learning educational theory and methods in my classes.
