Blaggadaryu Tibya Isus

Okay, I'm not sure about the spelling but the title of this blog means "I just want to thank you, Jesus." I learned it in a song at a church in Columbus, Ohio. I still remember it because I love languages. Other than English, I know more Spanish than anything else. My parents were missionaries in Costa Rica and I took two years in high school and one in college.

A couple years ago, I took a trip to Turkey with some friends. Because of that country's religious views, I will not mention names or reasons for going there. It was fun to learn a few words and phrases. "Merhaba" is hello. Tessekurrederim is a formal way to stay thank you. Inshallah means God willing.

I think I would like to spend expend time in another country some day to learn another language well. If nothing else, I would like to be able to take advantage of other opportunities to travel to foreign countries to bless others and learn new languages. Until then, "Dios le bendiga en la Dia de Gracias!" (God bless you on Thanksgiving!)
